John started volunteering with Upper Lake Fire
Protection District in 1985. John is currently a
Fire Captain, Training Officer with our Upper
Lake Station.
John is also leader of the Northshore Fire
Protection District Dive Team. He has worked
very hard with the other personnel involved and
has built a successful team from the ground up.
John is a CA State Fire Marshall Firefighter I
and II. He has also finished several of his Fire
Officer series classes, including Instructor IA &
IB as well as Driver/Operator IA and IB. He is
also planning on enrolling in the paramedic
program this Fall.
John's hobbies include camping, recreational
diving, and spending time with his family which
includes his wife and 4 kids.
